PROGRESS IS BEING MADE

I did it—I opened that darn box. It was a tramatic experience but I did it. Just took that box cutter and cut that sucker right open. Believe it or not, nothing jumped out at me. I did find many pieces of wood, lots and lots of bolts and screws and an instructioin book. Yes folks, an instruction book that has about 85 pages in it. Poor Mike!!! He’s promised to help me get this little thing together this weekend. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he suddenly has to work Saturday and Sunday when he sees all the pieces and the size of the instruction book. Fear not—by this time next month I’ll be spinning along like an old pro. (pro what I have no idea) By the way, the instruction book is in the top drawer of the Hoosier cabinet. When I can’t find it all of you know where it is. Feel free to remind me.
Knit like the wind knitters, I am.
I just know you can hardly wait to see my new wheel. Well folks, here it is. I haven’t had the nerve to take it out of the box. I can just imagine thousands of pieces of wood and wire that must somehow be connected to make a wheel. It might not be too much of a problem if I read instructions. Oh no, not me, lets just jump right in there and see what we end up with. Who knows, I may invent a wheel that has never been seen before, I may get rich, I may be laughed out of town. I’ll keep you posted on the progress. Tomorrow I may put the box cutter by the box. The next day I may even open the box. Then again, I may not.
