OUR MICHAEL IS FINE

Our baby Michael is fine.  The test results came back today and the Dr. says there is nothing to worry about.  Here is the little booger in his Easter towel.  I know the stress Mike and I have been through is nothing compared to Jeff and PJ but I don’t think I could have waited much longer for the Dr. to call.  It’s so hard to realize your little one may be sick.  We are so blessed that all worked out well.  I have told Michael that when he’s about four I’m going to pick a nice switch off a tree and spank his little legs for all the stress he’s put us through.  (You know I’ll do that) Thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers.  We truly appreciate it.

Now that this drama is over I hope to get back to knitting and not totally messing up every stitch I knit.

At Least They’re Not PINK

Don’t know if I’ve shown you these before and I’m too lazy to go back and check.  I again have no idea what they’re knit with, but, I’ll ask Beth, she always knows.

Our new baby Michael is having a few problems so we ask that you remember him in your prayers.  We’re keeping our fingers crossed that all works out and the doctors are just being extra careful.  I’ll let you know as soon as we know something.

Needless to say, my mind hasn’t been on knitting.  I’ve attempted to start a shawl six times now and end up ripping it out each time.  Think I’ll stick to socks.

Keep good thoughts and keep knitting.

NO MORE PINK!!!

The pink shaw is done.  (we all jump for joy)  It is really soft and I love it but no more for me.  The dang thing is so big I can use it for a table cloth if I get tired of wearing it.  Repeat after me gauge, gauge, gauge.  (you do realize you have just repeated a cuss word (in my book) three times.  Shame on you.

Also, one of several pairs of socks I’ve finished lately.  Would love to tell you what they’re knit with but I have no idea.  Is it Sock Club yarn?  Anyway, I love them and the pattern was fun and something different.  I’ll show the others later.

Just in case you care, my little Michael is doing great.  He’s decided to eat and stay awake a little longer.  He has to go to daycare in two weeks and I can’t stand it.  Of course, my boys also went to daycare while I was working  Mike’s way through Architecture School.  It certainly didn’t hurt them, but, my grandbaby is a different story.  He’ll be fine I know, just worry about his parents.  I remember how awful it was to leave the boys the first time.  I’ll post a pic of him soon.  He’s soooooo  cute.
